Description

7/29/25 - This is a very nice example of a BYF 41 "Black Widow" Mauser Luger issued to the German military in 1941. This one is a scarce variation of the BYF 41 with "Eagle 135" proofs instead of "Eagle 655" proofs. It is all matching and fitted with an excellent set of original "Black Widow" bakelite grips. It comes as a rig with two black widow magazines, a very nice 1941-dated brown leather holster, and an "Eagle 655" marked tool. The original finish rates about 93% with general high edge wear, muzzle wear, and some thinning along the barrel. The bore has great rifling, but there is some light freckling in the grooves.
