Description
5/27/26 - This is a BYF 41 "Black Widow" Mauser Luger issued to the German military in 1941. This one is a scarce variation of the BYF 41 with "Eagle 135" proofs instead of "Eagle 655" proofs. All matching. It is fitted with a set of original "Black Widow" bakelite grips - some minor wear on both sides. It comes as a rig with two original "Black Widow" magazines (one of the mags is numbered on the spine but not matching to the gun), an "Eagle 655" tool, and a 1941-dated holster. The gun's finish rates about 94%, and we believe there are some areas of cold blue touch-up, most noticeable on the right side rail. There is general high edge wear, muzzle wear, and some minor thinning with light brown patina on the grip straps. The bore has good rifling, but there is frosting and light pin-pricking in the grooves.
