Description
3/6/26 - These interesting pistols were produced for only a few years starting in 1920, with only about 5,000 manufactured before production halted. It was designed by Anthony Fiala, a well-known adventurer and explorer, who created this magazine-fed single shot because he didn't trust semi-automatic designs to function in sub-zero environments such as on arctic expeditions. This example has standard markings and features. It comes with a very nice presentation case, an extra 20 inch barrel with forearm (matching to the gun), extra 3 inch barrel numbered (matching to the gun), a shoulder stock, and two 50-count boxes of Western .22 LR cartridges. The finish on the gun rates about 95% with most of the wear on the back strap where the stock attaches. There are a few small areas of light spotty oxidation. Minty bore. Fitted with nice smooth wood grips. Our notes from the consignor say this comes from the personal collection of Les Kraft.
