2/14/23 - This is an original example of the desirable Colt Model 1902 pistol, that was manufactured in 1914. There were only ~18,000 of this model produced, all between 1902 and 1928. The military model can be distinguished by the rectangular shape to the frame, swivel lanyard loop on frame, and the additional cartridge capacity in their magazines. This model was chambered for .38 ACP, and is very similar in design to the innovative M1900. This particular example has about 50-60% of the original bluing, with thinning visible in most areas but especially pronounced on the grip straps. Excellent, original Colt hard rubber grips. The bore is shiny and generally clean but the rifling shows some smoothing/signs of use.
