Description
7/16/26 - This is a nice example of a rare Colt US single action artillery model. The action is tight as a drum and works perfectly on all 4 clicks. The frame is "US" property marked with mixed military military inspection proofs and mismatched parts throughout. The grip panels show no visible military inspection cartouches. The gun has been completely refinished and restored with bright, almost fire-blued parts, including the barrel, cylinder, and grip straps. Gorgeous case-coloring on the frame and hammer. There are just a few light surface scratches here and there and a few tiny pits on the right side of the frame. Minty wood grips. The bore is pretty nice for its age - it has strong rifling, but there are a few spots of noticeable pitting. This is an antique, so no FFL is required.
