Description
9/13/24 - This is a scarce DWM military "sneak" Luger from the Weimar period. These are typically termed Sneak Lugers based on the lack of any identifying manufactures markings and proof marks, which the Nazis did to disguise their early rearmament efforts. This one has a blank chamber and Nazi-era test Eagle proofs on the right side of the slide, barrel, and on the tang. All numbered parts are matching, though the rear toggle pin has been ground around the rim for some reason. Its finish rates somewhere between 85-90%. The majority of the finish loss is on the barrel and on the side plate. Brown patina on the grip straps. Light spotty oxidation along the barrel. Fitted with matching-numbered grips - there is a name scratched on the inside of the left panel. Comes with a mismatched "Eagle 83" magazine. Very nice bore.Specifications
