Description

7/28/26 - This is the rarest of all the army issued Mauser HSc's. In 1941, Mauser ceased production of the model 1934 in favor of the HSc, and some of the first several thousand procured bear the same proofs as the model 1934 - Eagle/655 on trigger guard and the army test proof on the grip tang. There were only 3,000 of this variation produced, with said markings and high-polish blue finish. This one is matching and has retained roughly 85% of its original high polish finish. There is muzzle wear, thinning on the back strap, and areas of obvious splotchy discoloration on the right side of the slide and on the front strap. Fitted with period-correct wood grips. Comes as a rig with two proper Mauser banner magazines and a rare Waffen-proofed and "Oak Leaf 9" marked Bearskin holster. Visible "Mauser 7.65" ink stamp on the inside. Mint bore.
