Description
6/24/26 - This is the rarest of all the army issued Mauser HSc's. In 1941, Mauser ceased production of the model 1934 in favor of the HSc, and some of the first several thousand procured bear the same proofs as the model 1934 - Eagle/655 on trigger guard and the army test proof on the grip tang. There were only 3,000 of this variation produced, with said markings and high-polish blue finish. This one has retained about 94% of its original high polish finish. The majority of the finish loss comes in the form of light spotty wear around the muzzle. Minor wear at the base of the back strap. Fitted with period-correct wood grips - hairline crack on the right side. Comes with a period-correct Mauser banner magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is light pin-pricking throughout.
