Description
2/11/26 - This is an excellent example of an end-of-war AC 45 Walther P.38 from 1945. This particular gun is scarce because it is all matching in the "c" serial block - most in this range are GI mismatched. It has only one "Eagle 359" military acceptance proof on the right side of the slide, indicating it never made it out of the factory before the end of the war. Some of the small parts have a phosphate finish, which is correct for this variation. There are also some rough machine marks on the right side of the slide - also typical for these end-of-war guns. Its original finish rates about 95%, and the majority of the finish loss is on the front strap. A few light surface scratches on the slide. Fitted with black plastic grips and comes with a scarce, late-war, "U" marked magazine. Minty bore. De-cocker is functional.
