Description
3/11/26 - This is a very nice example of an end-of-war AC 45 Walther P.38 from 1945. This particular gun is scarce because it is all matching in the "c" serial block - most in this range are GI mismatched. It has only one "Eagle 359" military acceptance proof on the right side of the slide, indicating it never made it out of the factory before the end of the war. Some of the small parts have a phosphate finish, which is correct for this variation. There are also some rough machine marks on the right side of the slide - also typical for these end-of-war guns. Proper late-war cog-style hammer. Its original finish rates about 93% with minor high edge wear, muzzle wear, a few light scratches and marks on the barrel, and one small dot of discoloration on the left side of the slide. Fitted with reddish phenolic grips and comes with a scarce, late-war, "U" marked Walther magazine. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
