Description
3/9/26 - This 1940 dated Mauser Luger is all original and has the rare, reddish Krieghoff grips on it. A very small set of 1940 lugers have these grips on them from the factory. It is assumed that they experimented with the HK grips as an option before they started making their own black plastic grips. These grips are found in the G to K blocks. This one is all matching and comes with one original matching magazine. It has retained about 96% of its original finish with just very minor high edge / muzzle wear and some very light freckling on the grip straps. The grips are excellent. The bore has good rifling, but there is noticeable freckling throughout.
