11/24/21 - This is a scarce and desirable Colt 1911A1 from 1941 in excellent, original condition. The parkerized finish indicates it was made in the latter half of the year, and rates at about 97% with only minor holster wear on the high edges and a slight idiot mark on the frame. Matching numbered slide and correct Colt barrel with 'G' under lug. Proper inspectors marks on frame and slide, with frame being marked for inspector Robert Sears. Minty, sharply checkered grips. Strong, shiny bore. Original Risdon magazine. Also comes with an excellent holster that is made by Boyt and '42 dated.
