Description
8/27/26 - This is an excellent example of a Spanish Star Model B issued to the Nazi military during WW2. The firm of Star Bonifacio Echeverria SA, located in Eibar, Spain, originated in 1905 but the factory was destroyed during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). It was rebuilt adjacent to the original site, and during WW2 it supplied about 25,000 pistols to the German Army in France. This one is matching and "Waffen D20" proofed. It is marked "O", which denotes 1944 manufacture. It comes as a rig with two proper magazines and a generic tan leather holster. The gun itself has retained about 96-97% of its original high polish finish with minor high edge wear and a few marks and scratches here and there, most noticeable on the left side of the slide. Fitted with minty period-correct checkered wood grips. Minty bore.
