Description

4/18/24 - This is a very nice example of a scarce, second variation Remington Rand 1911A1 from 1943. It has the proper 2nd variation slide with larger legend, and is in the correct serial range. Correct High Standard barrel with minty bore. Excellent Dulite finish, one of the last ones before the switch to parkerization. Minor high edge wear on slide and frame, and light thinning of the front strap. Excellent grips. Early checkered mainspring housing. MS Little magazine.
