12/6/18 - This is an absolutely fantastic example of the hard-to-find Springfield Armory M1911. Made in 1915, this pistol features ~90-92% original blue with the majority of finish loss on the top and bottom of the slide. There is also minor patina on the straps, but you almost never see these in such beautiful condition, and this may be the nicest we've offered. There were only ~30,000 of these produced from 1914-16. All correct small parts with the exception of the extractor, which does not have the 'S' proof mark. It has a Springfield barrel (S and P marked) with an absolutely mint bore. Excellent two-tone magazine.
