Description
8/17/26 - This is a nice example of a rare, first-year-of-production Walther Model PP pistol made in 1929. This example has the correct and very early PP features like the Fat 90 degree safety, heavy hammer, a flipped serial number, x-backed grips, slightly extended barrel, and the slab-side finger extension magazine. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Crown N" proofs. We believe it has an old re-blued finish. There is very little actual bluing loss, just some minor muzzle wear, a couple of spots of light pin-pricking under the bluing here and there, and a few tiny surface scratches. The bore has good rifling, but there is noticeable freckling throughout.
