Description
10/14/25 - Between 1926 and May of 1940, nearly 60,000 FN Browning M1922 pistols were shipped to the Netherlands and designated Pistool M25 No.2 by the Koninklijke Landmacht. These pistols feature a large Crown/W proof on the slide for Queen Wilhelmina. While 60,000 would suggest a somewhat common pistol, the survival rate on these is relatively low as we only receive one or two per year. Frame is also Crown/W inspector marked. This one is has retained roughly 85% of its finish. The majority of the wear is around the muzzle, and there are some areas of light spotty oxidation on the right side of the slide. Fitted with excellent grips and comes with a numbered but mismatched Dutch magazine. The bore has good rifling with just some very light freckling here and there. The lanyard loop is missing from the frame.
