Scarce G Code Mauser K98k

06/17/2024 - For sale is a G-code Mauser K98k made around 1935. This rifle is in good condition overall but could be cleaned up better. The receiver and other metal parts retain the majority of its original bluing but it is browning with age. There are also some spots of oxidation. The stock is in good condition overall but the area in front of the front action screw is noticeably marred and the locking screws have been drilled out. There are some spots of surface rust on the rear sight and bolt. This rifle is bolt mismatched and is missing the cleaning rod. The bore is fairly bright with good rifling but there is a noticeable spot of pitting on the top about 2 inches in from the muzzle. There are the letters J and S scratched into he magazine floor.
