SOLD - Scarce G43 Rifle - duv 44

6/13/19 - This is a very nice example of a G43 rifle, marked ‘duv 44’ on the receiver, denoting it was made at the Berlin-Lubecker factory in 1944. All numbered parts are matching, including the stock. Nice finish on metal parts, though there is some thinning throughout. The rifle is all original and correct, with multiple proper waffen proofs on the stock and receiver. Only minor flaw is that the stock may have been lightly sanded at some point, based off the faded nature of the waffenamts on the stock. Original magazine is K43 marked with maker 'aye’ and WaA843 markings on left side. The stock is in terrific condition and looks great, but the handguard does have a crack in it. Stock is clearly serialized to the gun. The bore is very shiny with strong rifling. Later production style handguard, which is made of a dark red/brown phenolic resin that is like a plastic.
