SOLD - Scarce, Ideal Luger Grips

3/20/25 - This is an original set of early-production "Ideal" Luger Grips. These were made in the early 1900's (1904 was the first year of production), before the introduction of the integral back strap stock lug on the Model 1908. Consisting of smooth walnut panels secured to metal base plates which are slotted on the rear, these grips were designed to accept a set of mounting hooks for the combination holster/telescoping metal shoulder stock. There are very few original examples remaining. This particular set is in great overall condition, with no significant damage or chipping of the wood exterior. The metal backing is also in good shape, aside from one section of the right panel that appears to have been rewelded and then has come slightly loose. This should not effect functionality or fit, and would also not be visible once the grips are applied.
