Description
10/29/18 - This is a beautiful Baby Nambu, manufactured at the Tokyo Artillery Arsenal, with its original matching magazine and grips. The original finish rates at 97-98%, with almost no finish loss to mention, but it does have spots of patina in various areas of the frame and slide. There is also minor surface freckling along the left side rail. This pistol falls toward the middle of the serial range for Baby Nambu's produced by Tokyo AA, of which there were 5,900 made. Other features include "Type Nambu" in Kanji on the right side of frame and checkered walnut grips. These pistols were popular among Japanese officers and acquired the unofficial name of 'Officers Model Nambu'. These pistols were of the highest quality fit and finish, and are considered a collector's prize. Excellent bore.Specifications
