Description
1/23/26 - This is a scarce Luftwaffe contract Walther PP from 1941. All matching and Eagle N proofed. These are distinct in that they are in that they are waffen proofed on the slide and frame, feature high-polish blue, and their magazines are numbered on the base plate. This one comes with two original matching-numbered magazines and a scarce "Waffen 100"-proofed holster. The holster has a noticeable scratch on the top flap. One of the magazines shows an overstamp of one of the numbers. However, we are confident that this was done at the factory. The rig also came to us with a printed card that states this gun was captured at the Battle of The Bulge. We have no other supporting documentation for this claim. However, there is some writing on the inside of the holster that seems to feature some of that same language, but it is largely illegible. The gun itself has retained about 93% of its original high polish finish. The majority of the wear is around the muzzle, but the back strap shows some wear and freckling, and there is a light streak of wear on the front strap. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips. Mint bore. The hold-open does not work properly with one of the magazines (the one that is not overstamped).
