10/1/26 - This is a nice example of a Luftwaffe contract Walther PP, manufactured in 1941. It can be identified as a Luftwaffe contract gun by its original high polish blued finish combined with the "Waffen 359" military acceptance proofs on the slide and frame. It is all matching; however, it does not come with an original matching-numbered magazine. It has retained about 85% of its original high polish bluing. There is spotty wear on both sides of the slide toward the front half, noticeable scratchy wear on the back strap, and a few scratches and marks on the front strap. Fitted with correct black bakelite grips - noticeable cracking along the left edge of the left panel. Comes with an un-numbered wartime magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
