Description

10/16/19 - This is a scarce Walther PPK that was part of a Luftwaffe Contract order in the early 1940s, and retains one of the original, matching magazines. These pistols are identified by high-polish blue, waffenamts on slide and frame, and serial number on baseplate of the magazine. There were only 10,000 Army PPKs produced with WaA359 on frame and slide and high-polish blue, so presumably only a small fraction of those were diverted to the Luftwaffe contract. This one has about 94% blue, with most finish loss on either side of the slide, toward the muzzle, and minor thinning on the trigger guard and front strap. There is also some oxidation and pinpricking on the front strap and right side of the slide. Mirror bore. Grip is in decent shape but does have a small crack on the left side.
