Description
3/7/26 - For sale is a US Military marked M1891 Mosin Nagant made by Remington Arms. These rifles were originally made as aid to Imperial Russia but after the Russian Civil War, the Communist government would default on their contract so the US government would purchase the leftover guns to keep Remington and N.E. Westinghouse from going under. These rifles would be issued to National Guard troops to relieve 1903 rifles for WW1. The rifle is in good condition overall with minor finish loss on the metal. The barrel shank has oxidation and finish loss. The top of the barrel has multiple dings on it and there's also some spotting of oxidation. The stock is in great condition with no cracks or breaks. The number "135" is stamped in both finger grooves and both sides of the butt stock. The bore is bright with great rifling. The US Flaming bomb is stamped in front of the magazine. The rifle has matching serial numbers on the barrel shank, magazine floor, bolt, cocking piece, and buttplate.
