Description

3/4/25 - For sale is a Type 2 Paratrooper Carbine used by the Imperial Japanese airborne forces during WW2. The rifle is unique by splitting into two halves for transit. The metal has a nice, aged bluing throughout with some patina. The stock has a darkened finish. There is a crack on both sides below the receiver. On the left side is a 1.75" crack, and the right side has a 4" crack behind the receiver reinforcement. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The receiver retains its full Imperial Mum. The rifle has matching numbers on the receiver, the bolt assembly, and bayonet lug. The two halves and the barrel have matching assembly numbers.
