Description
2/27/26 - This is the rarest of all the army issued Mauser HSc's. In 1941, Mauser ceased production of the model 1934 in favor of the HSc, and some of the first several thousand procured bear the same proofs as the model 1934 - Eagle/655 on trigger guard and the army test proof on the grip tang. There were only 3,000 of this variation produced, with said markings and high-polish blue finish. While this one shows very little actual finish loss, there are areas of spotty oxidation, most noticeable on the left side of the slide and on the back strap. Fitted with period-correct wood grips - some minor bruising on the left side. Comes with a period-correct magazine that is numbered on the bottom but mismatched. Very nice bore with great rifling.
