Description
7/19/22 - This is the most uncommon variation of the German G43(K43) rifle, made in the final months of the war, around February-March of 1945. It was made at the Berliner Lubecker factory, which was assigned a 'qve' code in 1945 instead of the previous 'bcd' code. With a total of about 60,000 rifles made, this variation is one of the least encountered by the collectors and exhibits the late war rough machining and bluing. The gun is all original and matching, including the receiver, bolt, buttstock and the internals. The finish is in good condition overall with some wear on the trigger group and front band. The stock is also in good condition with no major defects, just a small surface crack where the stock meets the back of the receiver. The right face has two waffenamts that may have been lightly sanded over. The bore is excellent with strong rifling. The listing includes a repro mag pouch and some spare internals, as well as a repro spare magazine. NOTE: The photos show three total magazines but only two are included with this listing - one original, one repro. The original is 'gcb' maker marked. Rifle coms with cleaning rod and sight hood, as well.Specifications
