Description

4/3/19 - This is a rare Colt New Service Target model revolver, chambered in the seldom seen .44 Russian cartridge. There were only an estimated 500 in such configuration, with 7.5 inch barrel and flat top target sight. Serial dates this gun to 1906 and the early Colt logo is present on frame. Beautiful and original stag grips are present, with some age and handling wear but no major flaws. Minty bore and the timing/action is excellent. Original bluing rates at about 85% with a few areas of minor thinning but a general patina that has set in on much of the revolver.
