Description
2/28/26 - This is the rarest of all the army issued Mauser HSc's. In 1941, Mauser ceased production of the model 1934 in favor of the HSc, and some of the first several thousand procured bear the same proofs as the model 1934 - Eagle/655 on trigger guard and the army test proof on the grip tang. There were only 3,000 of this variation produced. This one has about 92-94% of its original bluing left, with just minor high edge wear, minor wear on the front strap and back strap, and muzzle wear/pitting, most notably on the left side of the muzzle on the slide. Bright bore with strong rifling. The gun has its original grips in excellent condition. Comes with one period-correct magazine and a coffee-colored leather holster. The holster has a maker stamp and is dated to 1941. The leather of the holster is still soft and pliable, but the front flap is heavily worn with cracking over the entire piece. Other areas of the holster are in better shape.
