Description
11/25/25 - This is a nice example of a Remington Rand Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. It is "United States Property" marked, has a cross-cannon military cartouche, and has the proper "FJA" inspector initials. This one also has a scarce 2nd variation slide and is in the proper serial range for this variation. Proper HS High Standard barrel. It has retained about 90% of its finish with thinning on the front strap, general high edge wear, and some spots of discoloration along the right side of the slide. Fitted with correct reddish plastic grips and comes with an "L"-marked magazine. The bore has great rifling with just some very light frosting in the grooves.
