Description
2/26/26 - This is a nice example of a Remington Rand Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1942-1943. It is "United States Property" marked, has a cross-cannon military cartouche, and has the proper "FJA" inspector initials. This one also has a scarce 2nd variation slide and is in the proper serial range for this variation. The barrel is a Springfield replacement. The gun has retained roughly 65% of its original finish with general thinning throughout and some spotty discoloration on the slide. Fitted with correct reddish plastic grips and comes with an "L"-marked magazine. The bore has great rifling with just some light frosting in the grooves.
