Description
5/18/21 - This is a scarce M1 Carbine as produced by Rock-Ola in late 1942 or early 1943. Only 3.7% of total WW2 production of the M1 Carbine was done by Rock-Ola. This gun was purchased through the CMP in 2008 and comes with the certificate, but it's mostly correct and original Rock-Ola parts. Barrel, receiver and stock are all Rock-Ola made with no rework markings, though the adjustable rear sight and bayonet lug were added after the war. Barrel band is marked MMO. Rear sight marked HI. Slide is Rock-Ola marked, as is the trigger housing and bolt. Stock and handguard both marked RMC. Trigger marked 'R', hammer and mag catch marked B/R. Strong, shiny bore with just a bit of freckling toward the muzzle.Specifications
