2/11/26 - This is a hard-to-find Colt M1911A1, manufactured in 1941 with proper RS inspectors mark. There were only ~35,000 Colt 1911's produced that year, which is a very low production number for Colt 1911's in general. The RS - Robert Sears inspector proof is very rare and desirable for Colt collectors. The slide is numbered and matching to the frame. Proper Colt barrel with a "G" under the lug. It has been completely refinished with almost no actual finish loss. However, there is some pitting under the blue on the right side of the slide. Fitted with reddish plastic grips and comes with a commercial magazine. Excellent bore.
