Description

3/20/25 - For sale is an S&W M13 Lightweight revolver made for the US Air Force. About 40,00 were produced but the bulk of them were deemed unsafe and destroyed by the Air Force. The cylinders were known to split and blow up on the user. The revolver has an enamel-like finish on the frame and cylinder. There is edge wear on the frame and finish loss on the hinge of the cylinder arm. The hammer and trigger retain a hint of case color finish. The barrel is blued with patina and wear around the muzzle. The rear of the grip had the "property of US Air Force" removed along with the serial number. The bottom of the barrel is stamped with the serial number. Bore is bright with strong rifling.
