Description
9/16/26 - This is a very nice example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military proofs. This one is scarce because it has a single-line slide legend. It is in the proper "m/n" serial block for this variation. It has retained about 93% of its original finish. There is general high edge / muzzle wear, a couple of small spots of wear on the left side of the slide and top of the barrel, and some thinning on the front strap. Fitted with excellent period-correct reddish phenolic grips and comes with a proper "Eagle 359" proofed Walther magazine. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional. The hold-open does not work automatically with this magazine.
