Description

1/20/22 - This is a nice example of a Walther Mod HP sold in the commercial market during WW2. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle N" commercial proofs. The gun has a beautiful plumb color to it - especially the barrel which is probably the best plum barrel we've seen. Overall, the gun has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. The front strap is thin and has spotty patina. Spotty wear on the left side of the slide. Light scratching on the right side of the slide. There is wear around the muzzle and high edges of the slide. Comes with excellent grips and a period-correct magazine. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling. The de-cocker is functional.
