7/10/17 - This is a scarce Zero Series Walther P.38, manufactured in 1940.  There were only 13,000 of this variation manufactured, with the majority of those falling into subvariation 4, such as this pistol.  The original finish rates at about 95%, with most of the wear on the high edges.  The pistol is all matching and correct, including the numbered grips.  The magazine is Walther-made but not numbered.  Barrel has minor frosting but no major issues - I'd rate it a 7/10.
