Description
8/6/26 - This is a scarce 1940 Mfg Walther PP with RJ marking on front strap to denote issue to the Reich Justice Ministry. There were fewer than 5,000 of this variation produced. This one has the proper "Eagle N" proofs. The slide is period-correct but mismatched to the gun. Scratched lightly on the right side of the slide is what appears to be a GI serial number. The gun has retained roughly 80% of its original high polish finish. There is obvious spotty discoloration and pin-pricking mostly along the left side of the slide. Minor spotty wear on the right side of the slide. A few small dings on the grip straps. Fitted with post-war black plastic grips and comes with a post-war magazine. The bore is mostly excellent and shiny. However there are two small strike marks on the outside of the barrel that have made two visible dimples on the inside of the bore. We would recommend getting the gun checked out by your gunsmith before firing.
