Description
11/30/23 - This is a scarce Walther PPK from 1934 with RZM marked slide. The RZM (Reichs Zeug Meisterei) was the equipment office of the NSDAP and was established to contract for equipment. These pistols were commonly thought to be issued to the German political leaders of the time. This one is all matching and has retained about 94-95% of its original high polish finish. There isn't much wear on this pistol aside from a patch of pitting and finish loss on the left side of the muzzle. Early 90 degree safety still shows about half of the original fire blue. Nice brown bakelite grip with no notable cracks or chips. Excellent bore. Comes with an original Akah holster that has the faint Walther inkstamp inside. The holster is in decent condition as there are no holes or major defects, but some of the leather is curled up or "squashed" on the inner and outer flaps.Specifications
