6/5/23 - This is an excellent example of a Winchester M1D Garand Sniper rifle from 1944, significantly harder to find than the Springfield Armory-produced examples. The gun was upgraded to M1D specifications at the armory and has a barrel date of February, 1952. The listing comes with the CMP certificate that labels this has an M1D Garand by serial number. It has a three-pronged flash hider and original leather cheekpad. Has an original M84 Telescopic scope with clear sight picture. The stock is circle P proofed and in excellent condition. The bore has good rifling but frost throughout. Comes with a canvas sling.
