10/06/26 - A scarce late-war Zink Walther flare pistol - the distinctive "dual tone" variation with a duraluminum barrel, blued small parts, and zinc frame. The finish rates about 80% overall, and most of that wear is just mild surface discoloration on the right side of the frame and front strap. The pistol is fully functional and features an indicator pin - likely added because the Zink model is much heavier than the duraluminum LP34s Walther made previously. The grips are original and in great condition. Late-war Zink flare pistols are a genuinely tough find for Walther collectors, and this one displays very well.
