9/18/20 - This is an excellent example of a scarce E/F Walther PP issued to the Nazi police force in 1944. There is an "Eagle F" marking on the left side of the frame. Only about 5,000 of these guns were produced. This rig comes with a black leather holster and two magazines. The gun is in excellent condition, retaining about 97-98% of its original bluing. There is very minor thinning on the straps. There are also a few small areas of discoloration and minor pitting, most noticeable on the left side of the slide. The bore is minty - shiny with strong rifling. It has excellent dark brown bakelite grips. The holster is waffenamt and dated 1944. The top flap has been cut off and re-glued. One of the mags is wartime and the other is an early Walther banner-only magazine. It appears that a post-war legend was added.
