Description
5/29/26 - This is a second variation AC 42 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1942. All matching with the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs. It comes as a rig with two original matching-numbered magazines and a hard shell leather holster (the date is obscured). The holster shows noticeable surface wear, the lift strap is broken, and the tip of the closure strap is torn (the tip is included in the listing). The gun itself has retained roughly 65% of its original finish. There is noticeable finish loss on the front strap, both sides of the slide, and along the barrel. There areas of light pitting along both sides of the slide and along the barrel. Spotty oxidation along the barrel as well. Fitted with period-correct blackish-brown "Eagle 359" marked Walther grips. The bore has decent rifling, but there is light pitting throughout. De-cocker is not functional.
