Description

7/9/26 - From the Tom Whiteman collection. A COA will be provided. This is a second variation AC 42 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1942. All matching with the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs. It comes as a rig with two original matching-numbered magazines and a very nice 1942-dated hard shell leather holster. The gun itself has retained about 93-94% of its original finish. There is general high edge wear, muzzle wear, an area of wear on the underside of the trigger guard, and a hint of thinning on the front strap. A series of small marks toward the front end of the underside of the frame. Fitted with period-correct blackish-brown "Eagle 359" marked Walther grips. Unfortunately, the bore shows a bulge in the barrel about halfway down with areas of noticeable pitting. De-cocker is functional.
