08/13/2024 - For sale is a Mauser Model 1924 made for the Kingdom Serbia prior to WW2. This rifle had managed to avoid being refurbished into the Yugo M24/47 rifle after WW2. The rifle is still full of cosmoline after being imported some time ago and only the outside of the rifle was wiped down. The metal looks typical of wartime condition but no signs of pitting or corrosion. some spots of original bluing remain but have greyed with age or are worn to bare metal. The stock is in good condition but there is a crack behind the tang and one crack behind the rear sight on the handguard. The bore is plugged with cosmoline so we are not able to assess it. The receiver has the crest for the King of Serbia stamped.Specifications
