8/27/26 - The S&W .38 Double Action Top Break Perfected Model was made from 1909 to 1920, with approximately 59,400 manufactured. The 5-shot double action top break revolvers were fitted with either a 3 1/4, 4, 5, or 6 inch barrel, fixed sights, checkered hard rubber grips with an S&W monogram, blue or nickel finished, trigger guard is integral part of frame and the side plate is on the right side (not the left side), last of the S&W top breaks and identified by having both a top latch and side latch, and is chambered in .38 S&W. This one is matching, has a 3 1/4 inch barrel, and has a blued finished. It is fitted with correct black hard rubber grips - the right side is numbered and matching. The gun has retained roughly 75% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is along the left side of the barrel, but there are spots of wear on the top strap, wear on the edges of the trigger guard, freckling on the grip straps, and spotty oxidation/patina along the barrel and top strap. Mint bore. Comes with a generic tan leather holster.
