Description
4/2/26 - This is a Smith & Wesson 3rd Model Ladysmith Revolver in .22 Rimfire, made in the 1920's. Only 12,200 were made. This model is significant as it was designed by Daniel B. Wesson himself and because it was the first .22 rimfire since the No. 1 Third Issue’s production ended two decades previously. Like the No. 1, the Ladysmith features 7 shots of .22 rimfire. Unlike the No. 1, the Ladysmith features a swingout cylinder with a star ejector as well as a double action trigger. This one has retained roughly 75% of its original high polish bluing. The majority of the finish loss comes in the form of spotty wear along the barrel and on the cylinder. Fitted with excellent hand-checkered Walnut grips. Minty bore.
