2/17/26 - This is an excellent example of a S&W K-22 Masterpiece that was manufactured in 1953 and comes with its original, matching box. This is a 3rd model K-22, often referred to as a "Pre-Model 17". This revolver is all-matching with the barrel, cylinder, yoke, star extractor, and grip panel all matching to the frame. This K-22 has retained nearly all of its original blue, but there is area of wear/pitting on the cylinder and top strap that would suggest it was briefly exposed to some moisture. Fitted with the original wood grips (serial number stamped inside of the right panel), there are no signs of cracks or chips in either panel. The six inch barrel is in good shape with a minty bore. Mechanically sound with proper lock-up and timing. This Smith & Wesson comes with the original gold box with the matching serial number written on the underside of the box itself. Also comes with cleaning rod and booklet.
