Description
5/27/26 - This is a Smith & Wesson Model 1905 revolver that was manufactured around 1909 within the 2nd change variation. This revolver has retained roughly 85% of its original finish with most notable loss existing as muzzle wear, loss on the top strap, some hints of high-edge wear and some wear on the bottom of the frame and trigger guard.. There are also two small spots on the left side of the frame, though one is covered by the grip panel. While it isn't finish loss, the barrel towards the frame does show some dulling/thinning. The bore in the rare 5.5" barrel has retained strong rifling, though the edges do show light wear. The custom wood grip panels show no signs of chips or cracks, though there is a small scratch on the top of the left panel. Mechanically sound with proper lock-up and timing. This Smith & Wesson also comes with a black leather holster with "551/5" stamped on the back. The stitching is in great shape with no tears or loose threads.
